The Rise of Itza - thrilling fantasy graphic novel

Augmented reality cover is unlocked

It's strutting time for our Marketing Manager Tim - he gets to create some augmented reality covers for the graphic novel. I can't quite believe you have unlocked so many stretch goals already. I am beyond grateful for your support. 

Next up we have a cool one. If we get to £16K then Mariano will add his signature to the Kickstarter exclusive special edition book plate.  This means that it will be signed by both George and Mariano. 

This is our first Graphic Novel and has been a real learning curve for us. It's so fascinating to learn how a comic is created from concept to finished pages. We interviewed George about how he writes the script over on our blog.

Another stretch goal hit!

Hello dragonbonded, I have missed you! 

What a great day and what a great way to come back to work! 2 unlocked stretch goals!  

Hurrah - the coloring book is yours! We're actually quite excited about getting the pencils out and having a go, the art is just beautiful, Mariano did a great work transforming George's script into art. We can't wait to see what you have in mind for a new color scheme! 

Next up is one that our Marketing Manager, Tim, is super excited about and that's the augmented reality cover for the softback edition. If we hit it he will be strutting around in delight. Let's get that stunning cover art and give it life. 

Caroline loves to think about the butterflies flying off the page as Itza’s hair moves in the wind and Reganna soars overhead.

Stretch Goal Obliterated!

You guys are the best - thank you so much for your support! You unlocked the first stretch goal! That is incredible! You can now have the covers from The Rise of Itza ready to adorn your digital devices. Move over family photos and make space for Itza!

The next goal is a really cool one - it’s a digital coloring book.

We got our hands on the art from the comic, chose some key pieces and rewound time so that color disappeared from the art. It’s pure magic. This means that it’s your job to get out those pencils and add it in again - can you do a better job than our creative team?

I’m planning to download it and print out for my 3yr old to color in - makes a change from all the dinosaurs, but I don’t think he will be troubling Mariano or Carlos just yet!

WOW - We are beyond excited to see that this project is funded. Thank you so much to all our backers for making this project a reality. We are humbled and grateful for your support.

There is a long way to go to the end of the campaign and we have some great stretch goals planned. The first one is at 5k and delivers wallpapers of all of the stunning covers created for this graphic novel - there are 5 in total, one for each of the individual comics and one for the graphic novel cover.

You all rock.
